    3. I have a perplexing question and would appreciate any help I can get. My GGGrandparents Peter and Katherine Cannon were shown in the 1860 census as living in Lancaster County, my Great Grand father Luke Cannon was born in about 1865, now when I go to the 1870 census my Great Grandfather Luke Cannon along with his brothers is shown as living in Philadelphia with his mother Katherine, who is living with a person named John McCauley. In the 1880 census Luke and his brothers are listed as "Stepsons" of John and Katherine Mc Cauley. My GGGrandfather Peter was still alive in 1880, in fact he didn't die until 1894. He is buried at St. .Dennis Cemetery in Havertown. Katherine is no where to be found. Therefore it appears that Peter and Katherine split sometime between 1865 and 1870, I have had checked the limited divorce records of Lancaster County, and Chester County to no avail. When up in Phila. a few months ago paid a visit to the Philadelphia Archives, but wasn't able to fin! d anything. Does anyone have any thoughts as to where I should look next ?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Philip Dreger (Philly ex-pat) Gulf Shores, Al.
