Thanks to those who answered my query. I am sure you are right. The name Elethgoe, Philadelphia Co., appears in the will of Margaret Hamer, d. 1724 and Olicoah, Phila. Co., in the will of her husband, James Hamer, d. 1715. I believe Joseph Richardson may have married one of their daughters. He is named as overseer and witness in James Hamer's will.
