    2. You can try to get info about his service record from the National Archives. I've got several copies of their form NATF-86 (National Archives Order For Copies of Military Service Records). The forms instructions include the following: "DO NOT use this form for any request relating to military service in World War I or II, or subsequent service. Write to: National Personnel Records Center, Military Personnel Records, 9700 Page Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63132-5100. For additional information about these later records, visit eVetrecs at www.archives.gov". I don't know what places to suggest for any kind of medical information. Hope this helps. Stephen C.
