Could you send me the names of Ottos in the late 18th century in Lancaster and Philadelphia County, or tell me how to access this information?. I appreciate your help. Natalie ndburrows@verizon.net --- Natalie- There are several in Lancaster County and Philadelphia County birth records--nothing that I can connect to Ulrich OTTO though. Lancaster County will abstracts lists the will of Magdalena RIEGEL, written in 1800 and probated in 1814, who includes daughter Magdalena, wife of John OTTO. The 1797 will of Catharine OTTO, of Earl Twp., Lancaster Co. lists as legatees Jonathan ROLAND and others. Jonathan ROLAND was also exectutor of the will. In Lancaster County birth records there are listing for 4 children of John Henry and Anna Catharine OTTO between 1758 and 1766 (the wife's name is not listed on the earliest two listings--so this may or may not be the same Henry OTTO and it may or may not be the same wife as the later listings). Philadelphia births lists Charles Joseph OTTO born 21 Aug. 1768 to James and Mary Ann OTTO (St. Joseph's RC Church) and Henrich OTTO born 10 Sept. 1777 to Henrich and Anna Maria (St. Michael's and Zion Luther Church, Phila.) Thanks so much, Joan. I will try to follow through and see if there is a connection to my Ottos.
