The people at the Lutheran Archives ARE very nice, but it's run by 2 volunteers and getting them to do research for anyone takes forever, if it gets done at all. In fact, it's often difficult to get through to them on the phone. The stuff they have is all or mostly at the HSP and FHL, which would be much faster. If you want to visit the Lutheran Archives, you have to make an appointment. Merle
