If you know the plot location, you can order a free gravestone from the Veterans' Administration. You will need to pay someone to erect the marker though. If you want someone to put a flag on the grave, contact the GAR Civil War Museum and Library, 4278 Griscom St., Philadelphia, PA 19124-3954, and give your veteran's name and the plot location of the grave.
