Further to my first reply, St. Joseph's Catholic Church was on Willings Alley, and St. Peter's Episcopal Church was at the corner of 3rd and Pine Streets. Both of these are in the area mentioned in my description of Turner's Court and Turner's Street. Perhaps the cemetery was connected to one of the churches.
