    3. McElroy's Philadelphia Directory for 1839 lists a Turner's St. running E. from 337 S. 4th Street, and a Turner's Court, N. from Catharine Street between 2nd and 3rd. No Turner's Lane is listed. Catharine Street ran from the Delaware River to 10th Street between German and Queen Streets. All of these addresses would be in the area SE of Washington Square and very near Front Street and the Delaware River. She was going through her mother's things and found an old cemetery deed to a cemetery on Turner's Lane in the 1840's. Unfortunately, she forgot to give me the name of the cemetery. She said she couldn't find a Turner's Lane anywhere in Philly today and was wondering if I could find out where it might have been located. Thanks for any help. Susan
