    1. [PAPhl] more on Clara Nagel, 1976
    2. Natalie Burrows
    3. The father of Clara Nagel died shortly after she was born and it may be that her records appear under the name of her stepfather, Frank Deuber, also of the 134 Vine St. address, married to her mother Pauline Maier Nagel Deuber. Thanks again for any help. Natalie Burrows ndburrows@verizon.net

    1. [PAPhl] Clara Nagel Richman b. Oct. 24, 1876 in Philadelphia
    2. Natalie Burrows
    3. Does anyone know how I could find the christening records (Lutheran) of Clara Christine Caroline Nagel, born Oct. 24, 1876, in Philadelphia. She was probably married at the same church Nov. 15, 1899, to Edwin Richman. Her family lived at 134 Vine Street but I cannot find her church records or know how to verify these in city records. Thanks for any guidance. Natalie Burrows ndburrows@verizon.net

    3. Hi Natalie- If you look on FamilySearch and do a search for Clara Nagel, there is a reference to an extracted birth/christening record for her, parents John and Pauline, she was born Oct 21, 1876. You should be able to order the record through the LDS. 2. I emailed the FHL last month and their response to me was: Due to contractual agreements, the images have been taken down until a registration feature is in place on Record Search. Our engineers are working to create the registration. We have been advised the images will be back up by the end of the year. Here is the link to the WIKI page for Philadelphia City Civil Death and Burial Records. It contains a link to the Pennsylvania Vital records which for a fee these records can be ordered. We accessed the Philadelphia death records WIKI page by clicking the "about this collection " hyperlink. We are sending a document on this feature. https://wiki.familysearch.org/en/Philadelphia_City_Civil_Death_and_Burial_Re cords As we wish you continued success in your family history research, we invite you to our community of researchers who assist in answering your questions at forums.familysearch.org. 3. *Pennsylvania* began statewide registration of vital records in January 1906. A few locations in PA started a bit earlier, but not as far back as you need for this one. Information here: http://www.birth-certificates.net/pennsylvania.htm For births in *Pennsylvania* before 1906, you might attempt to find a record of baptism.
