Maryann, I have Lille Clark's death record but not her obit so if you could pass it along, I would certainly appreciate it. Hello Listers: This is a first time post. I am searching for information about Patrick KELLY and Mary Ann DOLAN (1825, Galway IRE--1890, Allegheny City, Allegheny Co., PA). They were the parents of two known children: Patrick/Patsy, b. abt. 1851-52, PA, and Mary Anna, b. June 1854, PA. Have been searching for their exact dates and places of birth for over 20 years. I has been suggested by a professional researcher in Pittsburgh that possibly this family lived in the Philadelphia area. So I have found a Patrick and Maria Kelly in the 1850 Germantown, Philadelphia Co., PA census. I have contacted the Philadelphia Diocese and been told that I need to determine what parish this family attended, and go from there. So am asking for help as to the names of Catholic churches/parishes c. 1850's in the Germantown area. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mary Ann. Our Margaret (Foley) McBride died in 1920 and her daughter was Catherine McBride Kline who died July 1, 1918. Elaine
Eugene, Do they have a death index as I do not have a month/day in 1920? I believe these 3 sisters came from Ireland together and I am still trying to identify them on ship's manifest. Margaret Foley married Michael McBride, I just found out that Catherine married a Kennedy, I know nothing about Anna Foley. Anyone else related to these sisters? Thank you. Elaine Sharp Sacramento CA
I finally found out that Margaret McBride died in 1920. What is the best way to find out WHEN in 1920 that she died as I would like to obtain an obit. I believe her burial service might have been from Our Lady of Mercy Church and that she is buried at New Cathedral where her daughter who died in 1918 is buried. Thank you. Elaine Sharp Sacramento CA
Victorville Ca.- Ester K Jones,87, died Feb 5 in Victorville Ca. She was born on Sept 4, 1922 to Yetta and Morris Kornberg in Philadelphia Pa. The family moved to Los Angeles when she was three years old. Wonder why it took so long for her obit to show up? For more info contact me off list Bill Pallatt- in sunny Victorville Ca.
Is that the correct spelling for the street? I lived near Montague Street in Mayfair. It certainly was there in 1930, although Mayfair was a very new development then. 6100 would have been a bit south of Robbins. Elizabeth C Bill Pallatt wrote: > Thanks for the help.
