    3. I suggest you go to the LDS website and check out all of the film they have for vital records, you can rent them for about $5. each and read at your local LDS family library. They are very friendly and helpful. Film #978988 "Index of Register of Deaths" was a great help to me I was looking for deaths between 1800 and 1860. Good Luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sndtenterprises@aol.com To: paphilad@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 12:08 PM Subject: Re: [PAPhl] Death and Transportation Record In a message dated 6/15/2010 11:44:34 A.M. 3. If it's not in the FHC death records, which include transportations, then the chances aren't too good in my opinion. However, it could be indexed incorrectly, and that's why it's not found there. Do you have his death notice? Or a cemetery record? --- On Tue, 6/15/10, bellemarco@gmail.com <bellemarco@gmail.com> wrote: Since I now have the exact date of death for our Philip Kline who died in  1858, and he is not listed under FHC death records, what chance do I have  of getting a death/transportation records from Phila if I should send  monies to order one - of getting one?

    2. Does anyone know where the archives of the old Girard Trust Company from the 1930s would be housed? This is the bank that was where the current Ritz Carleton is now located. We are trying to locate my husband's half brother and know that he was born out of wedlock in the mid 1930s and that my husband's father supported the child up until his untimely death in 1942. His banking records may provide a clue as to whom he sent the money to provide for the child. This seems to be our only hope as dective agencies say that without the mother's name it is virtually impossible to locate the child. Please help!
