Is any one doing research on Richard Price Miller? He was from Philadelphia. He fought in the Spanish/American War in the Phillipines (late 19th Century). Doug
Does any one remember Dick Smith (or his sister Dash)? They lived at 48th and Hazel in West Philadelphia the 1930's and 1940's. He was a WWII pilot and the subject of a book titled, "Dick Smith, Bomber Pilot". Doug
Thank you, Rita. What is the "SI" designation? I determined "ML" means 'mother in law'. Hi Dave, A few years ago I had to wait 2 -3 months before PA sent me the birth certificate that I requested. Here's a link that may help - http://www.health.pa.gov/myrecords/certificates/pages/11596.aspx#processing Mary From: David Stroebel via PAPHILAD Sent: Tuesday, June 12, 3:03 PM Subject: [PAPhl] 1928 Birth Record To: [email protected] Cc: David Stroebel I requested my mother’s 1928 Philadelphia birth record. Upon receiving the paperwork in the mail I returned it with required documents. How long should I wait for the birth record? It’s been almost a month now. Assuming you ordered from Philadelphia Vital Records, any birth or death record I have ordered took a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks to receive.
