I am trying to unravel the family connections of ROBERT PORTER, b. 1731 Co. Donegal, Ireland; d. 1823, Millerstown, Greenwood Twp., Perry Co., PA. ROBERT's son GEORGE PORTER m. MARY DOUGAL and dau. SOPHIA m. THOMAS COCHRAN. ROBERT's second wife ANN seems to be the widow of a STEEL/E. His will was witnessed/executed by ABRAHAM ADAMS, CALEB NORTH, JOHN PURCELL and JACOB BOLLINGER.
