Roland. I would like to contact you about this Kern/Roland line. I descended from Daniel Roland who moved to Ontario, Canada and married Anna Margaret Disher. He settled on land obtained from his father in law. Family history states that John's parents died on route from Europe and he was taken in by the Kern family. He ulimately married Mary Kern who was the daughter of Michael and ? Kern. I'm looking for any info on this early part of our family history.
