Joseph was married twice. First, to Margaret White, b. February 1806, d. 5 April 1841 in May 1829 and there were four children. Second, to Charity Vincent, b. 5 October 1815, d. 5 April 1868 on 2 November 1843 and there were six children. Clara Ann was probably the next to the youngest. I am descended from David Beatty Marshall who was a brother of Joseph. I have good information coming forward on my line, if you are interested.
