Caroline: Thanks so much for your reply. I hadn't looked at my Gingerich line in a long, long time. I do have the Stoever records but hadn't reviewed them in some time. It's always good to get the synapses firing again. As a consequence I looked on Worldconnect to see what anyone might have done on the Umberger-Gingerich connection and find that a distant cousin had posted some "new" information in 2002 with references to court documents. I'm contacting her to ask for copies but am also passing this information on here.
