The deceased was a son of Michael and Susan (Shover) Foose and was born May 4, 1833. His wife has been dead for some years. Their surviving children are: Mary, (Mrs. James Rice) of Alinda; Ida (Mrs. C. Grube); Phoebe, (Mrs. Henry Walace); Abraham; Minerva, (Mrs. Jeremiah McConnell); Walter, all of Lancaster, Pa.; David, Springfield, Ill., and Harry, at home. One brother, Isaiah C. Foose, of near Mansville, also survives. The deceased was a good, honest man and bore the respect and good-will of all who know him. The funeral took place this morning; interment in the graveyard at the Old Stone Church in Little Germany. Handwritten: December, 1907. The above was kindly submitted by Nikki Perry.
