And Susannah Kern of Jackson Twp., Perry Co., Pa., party of the 2nd part. First party agrees to sell to the 2nd party, a lot of ground situate in Jackson Twp., Perry Co., Pa., ..it being part of 2 larger tracts, one of which was held by Robert Murray, who by his Last Will and Testament, bequested same to his son, James Murray; said James Murray did convey 3-1/2 acres to Michael Kern....other part being of a tract held by a Warrant that was granted to John Wilson and by sundry conveyance, became vested in Adam Hubler (?), who by his Deed conveyed 2-1/2 acres to Michael Kern, which 2 (tracts) contained 6 acres...at the death of Michael Kern, Samuel and Daniel Kern, 2 of the heirs of the aforementioned Michael Kern, bought out share of remaining heirs, viz: Elizabeth, md. Jonathan Smith; Mary md. John Roland; John Kern; Susanna Kern and Michael Kern. At a later date, Samuel Kern, one of the heirs who purchased said lot in partnership, sold his interest to his partner, Daniel Kern, which at death of sd. Daniel Kern, became vested in above heirs, viz: ! Elizabeth, md. Jonathan Smith; Mary md. John Roland; John & Samuel Kern and Michael Kern..... NOTE: Mary A.
