The family story says she was born into a large family who could not afford to keep her and she was "farmed out" as an infant. I cannot get a record of her birth or anything about her family and have research Linda (Barrick) Durham's recent book on the Barrick line in Perry to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
