He married Nancy Lepperd Snyder who was born 11-22-1822 and died 2-21-1901. I am looking for siblings of John. He was born in Cumberland Co (now Perry Co) Pennsylvania. His father George Snyder was born 1789 and died 1859 - his mother was Catherine Kessler Snyder born 1792 and died 1862. I believe they were originally from Germany - could have been Schneider name then. Also, thank you to Susan for the 1850 and 1860 Census Info. It was helpful in providing birth years.
