I just got a piece of email with a return address of: paperry-l@rootsweb.com and a subject line of : "Re: Your details" The body of the message says: "Here is the file." The "file" is an attachement with a .pif extension meaning, as an executable file, it almost certainly contains some kind of nasty virus. Two other things indicate the message is bogus and contains a virus: 1) Rootsweb mailing lists don't allow attachments, and 2) I wasn't a subscriber to paperry-L until just now. But if you are a subscriber, you might inadvertently open the message, hence my warning here. Be safe.

Diana, You are right..that message did contain a virus. My Symantec Virus Protection picked up on it and deleted the file before I opened it.
