    2. Interesting have always wondered what black Irish meant. Can anyone define that. Also I find it hard to believe and Indians living in Perry County in the 1850's........most had headed west or were being put on reservations.................not living in the general populace maybe a few but not as many as we may think.... I have ran into alot of individuals who say grandmothers or grandfathers were full blooded indians but cant seem to prove it... john

    3. I believe that the black Irish were a part of the Irish population that were rather dark complected with jet black hair. Some believe that they came from Spain originally.
