    1. Re: [PA-Perry] Percy Light
    2. Carolyn K Shearer
    3. Your Lights are buried in the same row as some of my husband's Shearer family in Pisgah Evngelical E.U. B. Cemetery, Carroll Twp. From "30 Perry County PA Cemetery Records" pg 282 Jacob Light (GAR flag 1861-1865) born 24 Nov 1843, died 9 Feb 1908, age 64, 2, 15. Lydia Light - no other information recorded. Philip Light 'my father' died 16 Mar 1880, age 65, 9, 10. Philip would appear to be the husband of Lydia who died just before the census was taken. Jacob is the correct age to be their son. Also in the same cemetery, pp278-9 Phoebie M. Light - no dates Anna M. Light -1838-1911 Urias B. Light- 1842-1910 Lydia Burns, wife of Philip Light - 15 Feb 1818-7 Sep1898, age 44,11, 22 (obivious math error here - she would have been 80 years, 6 months and 12 days. Possibly a transcription error, but someone would have to check the stone to be certain.) Could Urias and Anna be the parents of your Percy? Perhaps he was living with his uncle and grandmother to help around the house or farm just after the death of his grandfather. ----- Original Message ----- From: "peggyt" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2002 10:59 PM Subject: [PA-Perry] Percy Light > Looking for information on Percy Light, age 10 in 1880 census in Carrol > Twp., Perry Co. and listed as "nephew" In household with Lydia Light, > age 62 and Jacob Light age 36. > Peggy Lyte Tyrrell > > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 >
