    3. Hi John and Fellow Listers: Shermans Valley is located in what is now Perry County, PA.. The valley itself runs from near Blain, Jackson Twp. through to near Elliottsburg, Tyrone Twp.. At one point in time, almost all of central Perry Co. was considered Shermans Valley, so my points of beginning and end may be extended. Rev. LINN was an early Presbyterian pastor who pastored at Centre Presbyterian Church which was one of the earliest in Perry Co.. I am not sure if he pastored elsewhere at another time or not. Anyone else know? The Perry Historians has a photocopy of some of his church records from Centre Presbyterian Church which is presently located in what is now North East Madison Twp., Perry Co.. Hope this is helpful! Donna HELLER ZINN of Newville, Cumberland Co., PA. John H.
