The Sentinel, Carlisle, PA, Tuesday, December 22, 1987 Miles D. Garlin, 89, RD1 Landisburg, died Monday in Carlisle Hospital. He was a retired carpenter for the former Hampton Snyder Seeds Lumber Co., New Bloomfield; a member, former deacon and Sunday school teacher at Kennedy's Valley Church of God and a member of the Landisburg Ambulance Club. Surviving are his wife, Amanda M. Garlin; a stepdaughter, Elmira Neidigh, Scotland; three sisters, Pearl Koser and Hattie Mumper, both of Carlisle, and Florence Negley Lewisberry. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. Darrell Stone officiating. Burial will be in Landisburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home Wednesday and prior to services on Thursday.
