The Sentinel, Tuesday, March 31, 1987 Josephine M. Rynard, 85, 617 South Hanover Street, Carlisle, died today in the Todd Nursing Home, Carlisle. She was born in Cumberland County and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Sunday Morrison. She was the widow of Lee M. Rynard. She formerly operated the Tasty Shop Grocery Store, Carlisle, and was later employed at the Food Basket, Carlisle. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Carlisle, where she was a member of the Katherine Von Bora Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Old Bellaire Chapter #375 Order of the Eastern Star, Carlisle, and the Soroptimist Club, Carlisle. She is survived by one daughter, Jacklyn R. Shetter, Mt. Holly Springs; two sisters Nellie M. Mouer and Eleanor K. Kingsborough, both of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Revs. Richard A. Ruff and Richard B. Geib officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery.
