MORRISON, Roy G. The Evening Sentinel, Friday, February 4, 1983 Roy G. Morrison, 75, RD1 Shippensburg died Thursday in Carlisle Hospital. He was born in Cumberland County and was the son of the late Adolphus G. and Lillie Belle Graham Morrison. He was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Green Spring First Church of God, Walnut Bottom Rod and Gun Club, South Newton Township Volunteer Fire Company and the Newville Auxiliary Police. He is survived by his wife, Berneita V. Mentzer Morrison; one son, R. Lester Morrison, RD1 Shippensburg; three daughters, Vesta M. Darr, 158 Crain Drive, Carlisle; Pauline M. Jumper, RD1 Shippensburg; Cindy L. Russell, RD4 Carlisle; two brothers; Mervin L. Morrison, RD1 Shippensburg; Ralph Morrison, Walnut Bottom; three sisters, Elizabeth M. Varner, RD1 Newville; Emma J. Martin, 2536 Ritner Highway, Carlisle; Janet V. Mentzer, RD 4 Newville; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Green Spring First Church of God with the Rev. K. Hull Byers officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
