I just read your message about having parts of Millerstown declared as historical. You should contact Joan Williamson at the Council of the Arts on the square in Newport. Newport recently had almost the entire town declared historical. There were several people that came and researched the town. I don't remember their names. Joan Williamson or Susan Connell would remember. As far as starting an Historical Society for Millerstown, I think you would benefit by talking to the Perry County Historical Society. I don't know who is president now, but Resta Tressler has always been active.
