    3. Hello listers! I have been researching Mary REAM in Centre County. She was married to John A. Mallory in Centre County on Feb 17,1846 Mary died on March 4, 1898 in Altoona PA Her obit stated she was born in Perry County. Does anyone have access to 1830 or 1840 census records to see if she turns up with any Reams in Perry County????? She was born 1828 or 1829 Any help would be appreciated. I'd love to find parents and siblings for Mary. Thanks, Peggy

    3. Found no Reams in either the 1830 or 1840 census. Lots of Ream's in PA on both censuses but none in the county you specified. ----Scott -----Original Message----- From: Dan and Peg Engle [mailto:dbengle@pennswoods.net] Sent: Friday, December 03, 2004 8:59 PM To: PAPERRY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PA-Perry] Ream Hello listers! 3. In the 1830 Tyrone, Perry, Pa census is a Nicholas Reem, but no daughters to fit your Mary's age. In the 1840 Tyrone, Perry, Pa census are Nicholas Rheam, George Rheam and John Rheam. Only George Rheam has daughters who would fit Mary's age . Try Ream, Reem, Rheem, and Rheam. Many of these people couldn't spell and their names were copied down phonetically by the census-takers. These censuses can be found at Ancestry.com.
