    3. My Buchanan married a Margaret Murray But on Wilson Murray Buchanan's death cert, (there son) it states father a Wilson R. Buchanan, and mother as Margette Murray. Figure that one out. 3. This could be Roberts father, as Robert ans Margaret were married about 1830. As Jane could be Roberts sister, and my Wilson Murray Buchanan's Aunt. I wish I could look more into it. Thank you for taking the time to help me in this. Salli On Mon, 3 May 2004 09:58:01 EDT LTCMAX117@aol.com writes: > Sall- > Rev. 3. Hello all, I am still looking for my Buchanan line, and am still at a stand still. Need to know where to get the 1820 cencess for Robert Buchanan, and wife "at about 1830" Margaret Murray. Do know they were in Buffalo Twsp. Perry county, PA Also looking for a way to get a copy of Wilson Murray Buchanan (their son), birth certificate. This I know Robert was born about 1795 in PA, they married about 1830 in PA, he died about 1840 in PA, His wife Margaret, born about 1801 in PA, and died about 1836 in PA, Now it is said there was more then one child. How do I find all this out? And can I get the death cert. for Robert and Margaret, also find, where they are buried?

    2. Donna Heller Zinn
    3. Hello Fellow Listers: Am searching for date of death and burial for the below listed person. Is the Sandusky Soldier's Home still in operation? Here's a transcript of what appears to be a newspaper article - not sure what newspaper - but probably from one from Perry County, Pennsylvania. We think the year could be 1910??? " We are indebted to S. F. STAMBAUGH of Shelby, Ohio, for a copy of the Shelby Daily Globe, of April 17, containing the following. S. F. STAMBAUGH received a telegram Easter morning from J. P. HAYNES, surgeon at the Sandusky soldier's home, stating that James W. DeHEISER had died suddenly in the home. He was a soldier in the Civil War and served in Co. F. 177th Regiment Pennsylvania infantry Volunteers. Mr. DeHEISER came from Juniata and Perry Counties some years ago and had been at the soldier's home for the past 15 years. The funeral service will be held at the soldiers' home and the body will be laid to rest in the cemetery at the home." Thanks in advance for any information or hints on where to search! Donna HELLER ZINN of Newville, Cumberland Co., PA.

    3. Thank you for the Zeigler info. Your name is Richard Hackenberger? Do you know if we have corresponded before on the Hackenberger line? I recently lost most of my email, including over 7,000 genealogy-related emails due to a blast of spyware and I am gradually trying to find people I had contact with previously and your name sounds familiar. My Hackenberger line is through George Hackenberger b. 1823 in PA m. Elizabeth Haldeman b. 1819.
