Can anyone do a census lookup for me? I am looking for STEWART and NELSON/Neilson families on the 1840 census in Perry county. I am looking for Joseph Stewart, but he might not have been head of household, and for Charles Nelson. Thanks.

Hi Holley It's more than possible that there are two David Pecks. I have no idea if there was another wife. I don't think there was a second wife as I have a copy of a letter written by Clara Stambaugh Peck to a grand-niece in 1916 Clara outlived David by about 26 years. How can I obtain the newspaper articles regarding these individuals? I saw in our local paper this week that these two were murdered on Lamb's Gap Road 80 years ago and the murders were never solved. I'm not a relative, but this seems like a very interesting story. Thank you.
