Shirley/Fl: If I understand it correctly, in your msg of 7/19/02, you stated that Jacob Ritter that, was married to Susanna Bensinger, they had children Eizabeth, Diana, Geo., Mary, John B., & Susan. Was the Mary of that family happen to be married to a Rhoades? If so there may be a connection to my wife's line of Rhoades from Liverpool, Pa. I believe that the black Irish were a part of the Irish population that were rather dark complected with jet black hair. Some believe that they came from Spain originally. They had 6 sons and moved to Iowa in 1882. John had a brother named Phillip and another, possibly, named James. These three men were sons of Thomas and Christina (Wox) Huston. I don't know anything about Thomas' parents and sibs. It is very likely he had a brother named John as they tended to all give their children the same names.
