    3. Hi,Is this list still active? I haven't heard anything in ages. Thanks,Sue Rowdon -----Original Message----- From: panorthu-request <[email protected]> To: panorthu <[email protected]> Sent: Thu, Oct 5, 2006 1:30 am Subject: PANORTHU Digest, Vol 1, Issue 11 ==== PANORTHU Mailing List ==== Today's Topics:   1.  New List Administrator (Richard  Berkheiser) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Wed, 4 Oct 2006 11:36:35 -0400 From: "Richard  Berkheiser" <[email protected]> Subject: [PANORTHU] New List Administrator To: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain;  charset="iso-8859-1" Hi everyone! My name is Rick Berkheiser and I'm your new List Administrator for PANORTU Mailing List.  If you have any list problems, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] . As your new admin, I would like the topics on this list  to include a well balanced diet of PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS. PEOPLE. If it weren't for people, we wouldn't have much to talk about.  :-) Post individual surnames occasionally, then repost a month later.  This way you can catch newer members of the list and maybe those that didn't receive the message in the first place.  While we don't call it this, but its really a perpetual Roll Call.  Only let's try to keep our list queries to one person or one couple at a time.  It is not necessary to post three or four generations in one e-mail.  It gets a little confusing and overwhelming, especially for those in plain text Digest Mode. PLACES. Please post information about places that used to exist in Northumberland County and what function they served.  This would include churches, family farms, businesses, etc.  If you know the origins of place names, rivers, etc., please post those as well. THINGS. This one goes hand in hand with PLACES.  This could include landmarks,  items native to Northumberland Co., and things manufactured there. Also: If you find a good source or website, post it here. If you have information to share, post it here. Find an interesting tidbit?  Post it here. Hopefully this will make our list experience a more enjoyable and fruitful one!  :-) Thanks! 3. My brickwall is my 3rd ggm, Emelina DILLIPLANE/SCHUCK/PHILLIPS, b. abt 1833 - d. aft 1896. About 1853 she married Jacob Schuck. Jacob died in 1872. After 1880, Emelina married a PHILLIPS (first name unknown). I suspect she originally hails from Berks County and is possibly the niece of Ezekiel Dilliplane. If anyone has access to the Northumberland County Death Records and has time to do a lookup, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
