I would appreciate some help if you wouldn't mind. My direct ancestor, George Troutner and one of his brothers was in Northumberland Co. in the 1790 census. John Fletcher Williams his daughter-Margaret Troutner's son says in his notes as well, as from a biography that Susanna Earhart, daughter of John Ehrhart married George Troutner. Another person says that Maria Catherina was George's wife. Could someone help me with the Troutners and marriage or marriages? I have checked every place I can think of on the web but can't find the marriage records. The John Ehrhart in question was killed in 1777 during the Revolutionary War and is buried at Bethlehem Moravian Church. That is not the exact name of the Church. I found some information recently that he may have been involved if not owner of Ehrhart and Bro. mill in Upper or Lower Saucon Twp. The only other information we have is that John was born in Prussia. Any help at all on this would be greatly appreciated. We do know that George was a blacksmith and in the early 1800s moved to Ross Co., Ohio. Susanna died of bilious fever on the trip. Thank you.
