Date: March 14 1916 Newspaper published in: Philadelphia, PASunbury, Pa., March 13.--Missing more than twenty-four hours, Albert BATEMAN, aged 11, son of Charles BATEMAN, and Sherman MILLER, aged 9, son of William MILLER, prominent Sunbury residents, are feared to have either been drowned in the Susquehanna River or kidnapped. Until a late hour tonight searching parties have failed to get any trace of them. After attending Sunday school yesterday, the boys went to the home of David SLEAR, an uncle of the BATEMAN boy, leaving there about 5 o'clock in the afternoon. When they failed to be at their homes late at night a fire alarm was sounded, and posses of men and boys searched the mountains and surrounding country and dragged the Susquehanna River all night and today.
