Mr. and Mrs. Grant MORGAN and son, Norman of Lewisburg spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. MORGAN's brother, W. B. SNYDER. Mr. and Mrs. Albert WYNN visited at the home of Daisy WYNN Sunday. David WYNN, who has been home on vacation, has returned to work as truck driver for Prof. DREESE at Mandata. The picnic held by the Baptist church Saturday in Snyder's Grove was well attended and proved a fine success. Miss Betty FETTERMAN spent Sunday at the home of June GELNETT. Reynold HOUSER of Trevorton called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis SNYDER. Henry RENN and Kenneth NEIDIG spent Sunday at the home of Paul GELNETT. Mr. and Mrs. Albert SNYDER of near Augustaville recently visited at the home of Thomas TROUTMAN. Harold WYNN, Ray WYNN, and Charles HERB were recent visitors at Sandy Beach. Harry SNYDER of Chicago, Ill. visited at the home of Lewis SNYDER and family. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene GILLIGHAUER and son spent the weekend at York visiting friends. Reports from the Mary M. Packer hospital indicate that Mrs. Clayton WYNN, Sr., who was recently scalded, is slowly improving. Mrs. John HOLLENBACH, who has been confined to her home with illness, is little improved. Mrs. and Mrs. Warren WYNN of Sunbury visited Clyde BUSS Saturday. Palmer DEPPEN of Dalmatia was a recent visitor here. Edward VOLINSKIE of Shamokin spent Sunday at the home of his parents here. Sarah FETTERMAN called at the home of her sister, Mrs. George SHIVELY. R. M. WYNN, local thresher, is busily engaged in this vicinity. Guy STRAUSER and son of Millersburg were recent callers here. George HOOVER of Hoover's Island visited at the home of Ray WYNN Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Mal SNYDER and family of Herndon were recent visitors here. Mr. and Mrs. Albert HOFFMAN called at the home of Mrs. Jennie KELCICH, Mr. and Mrs. Marion KELCICH of Sunbury visited friends here over the weekend.
