From the Sunbury Daily Item, Friday, Aug 19, 1938 TREVORTON MAN INJURED George DEIBLER, Trevorton bootleg miner, is in serious condition in the Shamokin State Hospital as the result of having been crushed while at work in a coal hole near Trevorton late Wednesday. DEIBLER was working under the surface when a collapse of the roof partially buried him. Examination at the hospital showed that he suffered a fractured pelvis and probably internal injuries. CONDITION GOOD Reports from the Williamsport hospital indicate that the condition of Mrs. C. R. KLAPP of Watsontown, who underwent an operation Tuesday, is satisfactory. Daniel A.
