From the Sunbury News Item, Tues., Aug. 16, 1938 HONOR NEWLY WED COUPLE Mr. and Mrs. Grant R. BROWN of this city, recent newlyweds, were tendered a supper following their wedding Friday evening, by Mr. and Mrs. H. F. KLINGER of Shamokin. The bride is a niece of the KLINGERs. In attendance were 34 friends and relatives. Mrs. C. C. MALICK gave several readings. Mr. and Mrs. BROWN, the latter nee May E. RENN of Sunbury R.D. 3, were married by Rev. J. H. RHOADS at Elysburg. The former, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. BROWN of 969 Greenough street, is a graduate of Sunbury high school and is employed as a mechanic at the local hat factory. His bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest RENN of Sunbury, R. D. 3, and is employed at the H. D. Bob Co. Inc. plant here. The newlyweds will make their future home here. Sue Marcus
