From the Sunbury Daily Item, Friday, Aug. 19, 1938 TURBOTVILLE TEACHER TO WED BLOOMSBURG GIRL Kenneth MERRILL, Light Street, recently elected to teach science at Turbotville High School, will take as his bride, Miss Frances WARD, of Bloomsburg, in a ceremony to be performed at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. WARD, by Rev. Dr. J. Edgar SKILLINGTON of First Methodist Church, Bloomsburg. Mr. MERRILL is a graduate of Orangeville High School and Bloomsburg State Teachers' College where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in teaching. He completed a course of graduate work at Bucknell University summer school this year. He has resigned a teaching position at Orangeville to go to Turbotville. Miss WARD is a graduate of Clark Summit High School and Bloomsburg State Teachers' College. Sue Marcus
