Hello Northumberland Co. Listers, I need a copy of obituary or news article for the death of Samuel Edwin Geise born 4 October 1911 and died 15 August 1938, both in Point Twp., Northumberland Co. His parents were William and Mallie Geise of Point Twp. In addition to the regular report in the obituary column, his death would probably have been reported in the Northumberland Section of a Sunbury newspaper.The Sunbury Daily and the Sunbury Item were the two papers published in Sunbury. They merged into the Sunbury Daily Item around that time, but I do not know whether they merged before or after 1938. Can someone on the ListServ tell me how to obtain a copy of the 8/15/1938 obituary, the news report of his death, or both, either by using Internet research or by E-mail?
