I recently came across an old family photo. It belonged to Ethel Thomas, who was the daughter of Daniel Fremont Stutzman (my great grandfather) and Laura Etta Wert. On the back of the photo is written in her handwritting "my great grandma and pop". Based on the Stutzman line, the lineage would not work as her great grand pop, Gottfried, died young in the 1830's. This could then be on her maternal side and would be a photo of Christian Wert and his wife, Polly Bitterman. Christian was born in 1799 but I have not done much work on the branch and do not have infomation on Polly. On the back of the photo is also SL Miller, photographer, Lykens, Pa. I have no information on this person. I would be glad to forward this photo over the internet to any one interested. I would also like to find out information on the photographer.
