From the Sunbury Daily Item, Saturday, Aug., 20, 1938 STROKE FATAL TO MRS. MCINTYRE, WATSONTOWN Mrs. Martha Jane McINTYRE, 70, of Watsontown, died at her home Friday following a short illness. She had been visiting with relatives near Tyrone when she suffered a stroke. She was removed to her home Thursday and death followed. She was a member of the Reformed church, Everready Class, and the Missionary Society. Surviving is a son, Thomas McINTYRE of Watsontwon, and a daughter, Mrs. Charles THOMAS of Scranton. Funeral services will be held from her late home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. P. A. DeLONG officiating. Burial will be in Watsontown cemetery. Friends may call at the home Sunday afternoon and evening. Sue Marcus
