From the Sunbury Daily Item, Tues., Aug. 16, 1938 CLASS OF 1919 HOLDS REUNION With 32 persons present, the 19th annual reunion of the Sunbury high school graduating class of 1919 was held Sunday at the cottage of Mrs. Mary KNOEBEL along Penns Creek, near Selinsgrove. 15 members were included in the group. The afternoon was spent in games and swimming. At a business session presided over by Willard DYER, Winfield merchant, plans were advanced for the celebration of the 20th reunion of the class in 1939. The committee in charge of this event includes: Sam C. PRICE, chairman, Warren FEESE, Misses Verna FETTERMAN, Ann NELSON, Mrs. Elizabeth FAHRINGER, and Miss Sarah Alice KEEFER. No election of officers was held Sunday, as DYER and Miss FETTERMAN were elected permanently president and secretary respectively, at last year's reunion. A delicious supper was enjoyed and all present voted the reunion a huge success. Sue Marcus
