    3. Perhaps this is what you are looking for. "Blue Hill" is on the west side of the Susquehanna River, at the confluence of the North and West Branches of the Susquehanna. It is in the southeastern tip of Union Co. From the top of the hill, now part of Shikellamy Park, there is an overlook with a grand view of Northumberland across the river and the island in the river between Northumberland and Sunbury. Be advised this area was in Northumberland Co. from 1772 until 1813 when Union Co. was taken off of Northumberland Co. I was resident of the area for many years and never heard of a "Blue Mountain" in or near Northumberland Co.. so I presume this is the place you want to find. You might like to look at the Shikellamy Park Website at http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/shikellamy.asp A lookup on Topozone maps lists Blue Hill separately in both Union Co. and in Northumberland Co., but the listing for Northumberland Co. is in error. If you use the Topozone locator to go to both maps, both maps that come up will show you the Blue Hill in Union Co., on the west side of the river. Nelson R.
