John Brickley was my his name he had three sons who became ministers, His son John Brickley came to Clearfield County as E.U.B. Minister, and i am descended from his son Samuel who would have been the John Brickley I'm asking abouts grandson. John Brickley's wife went to Ohio to live with her son Daniel(also a Minister) because the Farm was sold at time Of John Brickley's death, My only question is Does anyone know where John Brickley was buried when he died, does he have a headstone? and what does it say? I'm trying to find out who John Brickley Sr.'s P.S. I do know most of the Brickley's settled in the Orwigsburg area of Schuylkill County and John(Samuels dad, John's son!) was baptised there at the Zion Red Church in Orwigsburg in 1795. John Sr. was married to Magdelena Moyer. John Jr. was married to Margaret Shepler. The Shepler and Moyer names are both in prevanence in the time period around and before 1800 in that area. I don't know who was John Sr.s Father. A Johann Peter Brickli came from Germany in 1738, a Paul Brickley, Jacob Brickley, and Peter Brickley came from Germany in 1750, which one was John sr.'s father. I do know Paul was an Uncle, Becasue he is on John Jr.'s baptismal record as a Witness along with his wife. Later they scattered, Peter Brickley's family went to pike County and peter is buried in Loysville, Pa. and they srpead out from there. Jacob Brickley's family went to New york State. Paul Brickley's Family i don't know much about yet! And John Sr.s sons scattered all over three of which were ministers. His daughters married various people in the Area of modern Northumberland and Union Counties as far as i know. Any help would be useful. As far as i know none of my relatives are related to the English or Irish families of Brickley's.
