    3. I was under the impression that the Blue Mountain is the rise in the land that basically separates Berks and Schuylkill Counties. It starts in Lebanon County near Green Point and runs to the northeast along the Berks/Schuylkill boundary. It ends northeast of Port Clinton is what I believe is called Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. The Rev Stoever married an ancestor, Christian Stutzmann Jr to Katerina Eckert and his entry carried the phrase "across the Blue Mountain". These folks lived in the Hegins/Fountain area of Schuylkill County. 3. Dan et al, What you write about "Blue Mountain" is very true for Berks Co. I also have copies of records written by Pr. Caspar Stoever that mention the "Blue Mountain" in the area of Pennsylvania where he served. My answer was posted on the Northumberland Co. ListServ in response to a question about a mountain in Northumberland Co. that is now in Union Co. Nelson R.
