According to Floyd's book he is buried in Shamokin Cem. His name was Joseph Snyder - died Feb 1, 1876 and his wife was Annie (Haller) Snyder - died Aug 5, 1881. I have uncovered much about him from both Floyd and Bell's books as he was one of the pioneers of Shamokin where he kept a hotel in the first half of the 1800s. I would appreciate any info that could steer me to his grave - section and plot. Thus far he is the only one of my 16 grt grt grandparents whose graves I have not visited and photographed. I did not have the patience to look through that large cemetery on my last two annual visits but perhaps you could steer me in the right direction for my next annual visit in 2004.
