    3. Agreed, with what Timothy has answered. I checked my maps in the "Pennsylvania Line" and the part of Snyder Co. which I remember some of my ancestors migrated to from Upper Mahonoy Twp. in Northumberland Co. was across the Susquehanna and at the bottom of Snyder Co. and was a much larger Penn Twp. back then, and seems like it might be called Chapman Twp. now.
