Do you know any generations before Anthony? Do you know what country the family came from? My line of the family traces to Marnheim, Germany and the early 1500's. My great-great grandfather settled in Iowa in the 1850's. Some Armknechts came to the U.S. from Poland. If you are interested in my line of the family, I can email a detailed history.
