Going back in time, I lose the Shroyers down east in PA, but pick up Schreyers. Both names with and without the C. I think they may be one and the same family, but I have nothing to prove it. The Shroyers came to Bedford County from eastern PA in the late 1700's (1780 or so? - maybe before), but the earliest record with that spelling is 1765 or so, down east. Everything else is S(c)hreyer. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
